Your data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption and access controls. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
We use your data solely to provide the Clinical Case Log service to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or clinical case information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Clinical Case Log uses minimal tracking technology. We only store a session authentication token in your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
We retain your account and case data for as long as you maintain an active account. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
Clinical Case Log is an educational tool designed to help medical students, residents, and other healthcare trainees track and organize their clinical case experiences. This is not a medical record system and should not be used to store official patient information.
Educational Use Only: This application is intended solely for educational and training purposes. Users must comply with the following:
Clinical Case Log is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any disruption of service or loss of data, though we maintain regular backups.
You retain full ownership of all case data and information you enter into Clinical Case Log. You may export your data at any time and request account deletion if desired.
Clinical Case Log, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms, particularly regarding patient privacy or acceptable use policies.
Clinical Case Log does not collect, store, or process student education records as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

We do not share your case data with educational institutions unless you explicitly authorize such sharing. The application is designed as a personal learning tool, and you control all aspects of your data sharing and privacy.
As this service does not maintain FERPA-covered education records, standard FERPA rights regarding inspection, amendment, and consent do not apply. However, you maintain full control over your clinical case data through our standard privacy controls outlined in our Privacy Policy.
